Co and Extra-Curriculum Activities In Basil.
Activities
We believe that children in Basil International Schools deserve the best and that the curriculum should extend beyond entitlement. Whilst academic achievement remains at the heart of the school’s educational philosophy, we offer a range of After-School Clubs through which we develop inter-personal, psychomotor and Life skills as well as other talents in the children. Therefore, every student is encouraged to join one or more clubs.

Music, Speech and Drama
Music is an integral part of life in Basil. We have an active choir and music club. Drama is encouraged in school, and primary classes have compulsory drama lessons. Our Nursery and Primary Schools have diction lessons with qualified instructors. Debating and public speaking is a regular feature in school assemblies.
The Music and Drama departments join together on a regular basis to deliver presentations, performances and annual year end concerts.
Sport
The school encourages its pupils to participate in a wide range of sports including, swimming, athletics, and football. The school teams take part in a lot of friendly matches and competitions.
Leadership Training
These roles are keenly competed for and the pupils run campaigns and make personal statements to get elected.
We have competitions within and outside school, we attend science, Art, Literacy competitions as well as spelling Bees. Our students are taught to research and study hard to win and also to accept defeat but assess reasons for failures and take remedial actions.
